HEAD OF AI
LUT Universities are seeking a visionary and dynamic Head of AI to join our community.
This strategic role involves shaping and guiding the Artificial Intelligence initiatives across LUT University and LAB University of Applied Sciences, as well as fostering an environment of innovation, collaboration, and responsible AI use. The Head of AI will play a pivotal role in integrating AI into research, teaching, and administrative processes ensuring that our universities remain at the forefront of AI advancements while adhering to ethical standards.
Responsibilities:
Lead the creation and implementation of a comprehensive AI vision, strategy and roadmap that aligns with the LUT Universities’ goals, promoting cutting-edge and applied research, and the integration of AI in education. The Head of AI serves as a bridge between departments, facilitating interdisciplinary AI projects, fostering collaboration, and providing expert advice to enhance research and teaching methodologies through AI.
Act as the LUT Universities’ AI ambassador, engaging with stakeholders to foster collaborations, support AI initiatives and elevate the universities’ AI profile. The Head of AI is expected to develop and oversee the implementation of AI best practices and ethical use.
