We are now looking for a

WHO AND WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a person with appreciation for the potential that business, market and other data and insights can have for decision-making in an organization such as Business Finland, a good understanding of business-driven analytics needs and opportunities as well as advanced analysis, prediction and optimization methods and technology (incl. ML and AI).
However, you don´t need to be the most technically skilled, as you´ll work closely together with our Service Areas and guide analytics and expert teams, apply their tech and analytics perspective to solve business problems and set a clear vision for their work. Good communications and cooperation skills are vital to success in this role.

We also expect you to have:

• Master’s degree or equal
• Experience and proven track record in developing data and insight-driven management models, networks and solutions for leadership
• Experience and proven track record in project, network, and team management
• Experience in data analysis, data visualization and reporting tools
• Excellent communication, presentation, and cooperation skills
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills and a structured way of working
• Experience in predictive analytics as well as machine learning and AI-based optimization
• Fluency in Finnish and English, basic proficiency in Swedish

• Develop and solidify the cross-organizational network of business & insights analysts and other experts so that it has a key role in enabling the transformation of Business Finland into a data and insight-driven organization, including achieving efficiency of processes and their steering.
• Support and coordinate the work of our BI analysts and experts to reach agreed goals related to data utilization, business and market analysis, insights, and decision-making, including KPI development, planning and developing reporting architecture.
• Collaborate with decision-makers and experts to actively identify, define, and prioritize data and insight-driven management needs.
• Collaborate with our Development and IT teams to ensure that Business Finland’s data and IT architectures, as well as data quality, live up to analysis opportunities (incl. machine learning and AI) needs of decision-makers.
• Collaborate with key process owners to ensure that our data generation is optimized for an efficient steering of key activities at the customer interface.
• Work as a member of within the BI team, carrying out the same roles but with the additional network leader responsibilities.
• Vendor management, stakeholder collaboration and benchmarking related to BI services and systems.
