Responsibilities:

WE’RE LOOKING FOR A HEAD OF ANALYTICS AND PLANNING TO JOIN CPM IN THAME, OXFORDSHIRE. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MANAGING INSIGHT MANAGERS AND DATA ANALYTICS, WORKING WITH OUR CLIENTS – SOME OF THE BIGGEST BRANDS IN THE WORLD.

The Head of Analytics & Planning is a pivotal role, helping to shape and deliver enhanced, innovative data and analytics that unlocks performance step changes. This individual will drive the strategic use of data across the UK & Ireland business. The successful candidate will lead a team of skilled Analysts and Insight Managers, ensuring that our data-driven insights contribute to business growth, optimisation, and overall success for CPM and our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will lead the development of data-driven plans for clients that deliver optimum performance, achieving their strategy and KPIs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all clients at various levels. Leading key client meetings, such a QBR’s from a planning and analytics perspective, to deliver client delight and proactive, future focused evolution.
  • Lead a team of 9, Insight & Strategy Managers and Data Analysts driving team performance, efficiencies, and innovation.
  • Develop innovative new solutions that enhance CPM’s offering and provide commercial advantage versus competitors.
  • Monitor new technology, software, and data, utilising this knowledge to rapidly spot opportunities for efficiencies or new offerings. Create proposals and develop in conjunction with the wider business.
  • Working with the Data Science Director UK&I to enhance the capabilities and offering of the team as we move further on our data science journey.

What you need to be successful in the Head of Analytics and Planning role.

  • Proven track record of translating data into actionable strategies. You should be adept at identifying growth opportunities and mitigating risks.
  • Accountability and ownership of your department, including coaching and leadership of the team.
  • Proven ability to develop and evolve long-term strategies while driving tactical projects.
  • Proven communication and presentation skills enabling recipients to easily understand the complexity.
  • Able to take complex data and analysis and possess the ability to summarise, considering the audience, in a client, field, and internal stakeholder-friendly format.
  • Proven ability to combine strong analytical skills with business knowledge.
  • Visual and data creativity to be able to present results and recommendations in an engaging way.
