Responsibilities:

The Head of APAC Consumer & Business Intelligence is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and communication of planning activities, identifying opportunities to fulfill corporate strategy, and assessing current models of business operations to develop appropriate new models. As the Director, you will serve as a strategic liaison for key organizational initiatives and participate in policy development:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a cross-market team of consumer and business intelligence managers and advanced data analysts to deliver high-quality, actionable insights that drive business growth and consumer satisfaction.
  • Market coverage includes our 5 APAC clusters: China, India, Japan, Metro Asia and Pacific
  • Design and execute consumer and market research projects using a variety of methodologies, such as industry trend analysis, competitor benchmarking, surveys, focus groups, interviews, ethnography, social listening, data analytics and etc.
  • Establish and maintain best practices and standards for consumer and market research, data quality, and analysis across the region.
  • Lead the corporate strategy for the Asia Pacific region as part of APAC strategy squad to solve business issues or opportunities for driving company growth. Key responsibilities include:
  • Lead or support Business Planning (BP), Long-Range Financial Planning (3 Year Operating Plan) and other key planning for APAC region
  • Provide strategic planning assistance to APAC finance team.
  • Provide strategy guidance to respective strategy teams in markets.
  • Collaborate with Middle Office, T&D in particular, to develop E2E digital strategy and roadmap.
  • Build and manage external partner eco-system.
  • Co-develop insight dashboards and apply data-driven tools to facilitate key management decisions in close collaboration with Global Analytics team
  • Design and direct key essential business performance (i.e. OKR) and insight tools
  • Recommend resource distortion by running models (i.e., BME and CIW distortion)
  • Provide regional and market-level NTS forecast assessment.
  • Propose solutions in strategic planning activities (i.e., automation)
  • Provide latest and holistic external view to identify region-level business opportunities and challenges to AKLT. Some example activities include:
  • In-depth market and competitor analysis to KLT (i.e. MBRs) and AKLT (i.e. AKLT, MBR, IBP forums)
  • Follow up / execute key strategic AKLT initiatives
  • Support global and region level strategic projects on scalable solutions.
  • Manage region level CBI budget and external partner relationships
  • Recruit, train, and lead CBI/strategy team in various geographic locations
  • Plan and operate CBI APAC organization structure and capacity management
  • Organize and host CBI community calls and best practice sharing
  • Run various training sessions (e.g. skill training, SOBG) for CBI and broader stakeholders in APAC
