JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Head of Art at Mediatropy, you will play a pivotal role in leading our creative endeavours, driving the development of ground-breaking campaigns that captivate audiences and win accolades. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to transform client briefs into innovative and impactful concepts while staying abreast of the latest cultural and digital trends. Craftsmanship is of utmost importance, and you will champion excellence in execution to bring creative visions to life. In addition to leading creative initiatives, you will serve as a key partner to business leadership, fostering client relationships and contributing to the growth and development of our creative department.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated experience in managing regional and international campaigns, with a proven track record of generating award-winning concepts on a global scale.
  • Exceptional presentation abilities, with a digital-native mindset and comfort navigating social platforms and content production.
  • You have a passion for creativity, innovation and have your finger on the pulse of the latest trends and technology.
  • Extensive experience in designing, producing and optimising assets and technical solutions.
  • As one of the agency’s leaders, you will be confident, inspiring, motivating and smart as hell.
  • You will be teaching by doing, nurturing and showing people the big opportunities.
  • Superb collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the generation of beautifully crafted, innovative, fresh, and engaging visual concepts that effectively communicate the client’s message.
  • Collaborate with the Group Creative Director in setting creative standards and unlock exceptional creative work.
  • Lead and collaborate in the brainstorms with creatives, account management and planning
  • teams to expand the range of creative solutions for existing clients, and prospective ones.
  • Demonstrate a sharp understanding of strategy project briefs and creative platforms to facilitate discussions with teams and craft exceptional presentations.
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to team members to refine and enhance creative ideas and craft.
  • Take a leading position in managing the agency;s client relationships, which involves presenting creative ideas, strategies and proposals, and engage in client discussions.
  • Think laterally and design innovation solutions with a good handle on what’s new in the digital space and social space, and inspires the agency surrounding creative technology.
  • Work with the creatives, developers and others to turn ideas into top class executions.
  • Keeping abreast with advancements in application design and new technologies.
  • Provide strategic guidance and creative leadership throughout the ideation and production process, ensuring excellence under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
  • Champion the highest level of craftsmanship, driving the development of award-winning concepts that push creative boundaries.
  • Inspire and challenge creative briefs, bringing fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the table.
  • Collaborate closely with business leadership and strategy teams, serving as the primary client-facing representative.
  • Contribute to the development of the creative department, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and share expertise with junior team members, nurturing talent growth and elevating the department’s craft.
  • Play a key role in shaping Mediatropy’s brand and agency processes, drive innovation and excellence across all aspects of our work.
  • Engage in departmental initiatives, including learning and industry events, to stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices.
  • Demonstrate media-agnostic thinking and execution, alongside strong communication and presentation skills
