Description:

About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity to welcome a Head of Asset Management & Decarbonisation into CCHAs Operational Management Team. You will oversee and inspire a large team of Assets, Decarbonisation, Compliance and Spaces and Places Team colleagues, providing operational leadership aligned with CCHAs values. You will line manage the Assets and Decarbonisation Manager, Compliance and Planned Maintenance Manager and the Estate Manager, providing positive and inclusive leadership. You will be an effective member of CCHAs Operational Management Team, collaborating with Heads of Service to ensure our strategy and operational priorities are effectively delivered.
We are a fast-moving organisation, making fantastic progress on our transformation journey, which will allow you to broaden your responsibility and enhance your skills and knowledge across the Property Directorate and wider organisation. We have an ambitious decarbonisation programme, a large number of grant-funded projects and a well resourced surveying, assets and landlord compliance team. Over the last two years, we have internalised all of our estates’ services, including grounds maintenance and cleaning and we strive to continually improve the services that our customers receive.
You will actively engage with our customers within our Physical Adaptation Panel, Homes and Estates Group and our Tenant Influence Panel to improve our services. Youll also be working closely with our People and Customer Experience Committee, including board members to improve customer satisfaction across the organisation. You will deputise for the Corporate Director of Assets and Property when required.
You will join a values-based organisation that prides itself on employee engagement, an excellent employment package, flexible working arrangements and a rewarding career with an innovative community-based housing association. The role is based on a 35-hour week, Monday Friday, although full flexibility will be required for the position as there may be occasionally unsociable hours.
This role also comes with a highly competitive benefits package, including a very competitive salary, remote and agile working set-up and a commitment to your ongoing professional development, such as gaining your full building chartership accreditation and professional fees paid with RICS and CIOB.
CCHA is an equal opportunities employer, taking positive action to address inequity. We particularly encourage professionals with communications experience in Urdu, Bengali, Arabic, or Somali to show interest or tell us how you would support CCHA in reaching the communities they serve.
About You
You will be able to deliver our operational plans for assets, surveying, decarbonisation, repairs and estate management services ultimately ensuring our compliance obligations are met as a caring landlord.
You should be able to co-design, evaluate and deliver strategies and operational plans that support continuous improvement of customer experience and service delivery across Property Services.
You will provide leadership to enable great performance and high-quality services within your service and will motivate and inspire colleagues throughout the business through clarity of direction and celebrating success. You will ensure all colleagues understand their responsibility for putting customers and their safety at the heart of everything we do.
