QUALIFICATIONS

  • Successfully completed university degree (Diploma or Master’s degree TU / FH), specializing in mechanical or industrial engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of business development with a focus on application technology, ideally bearing lubrication and tribology
  • Initial management experience desirable
  • Very good written and spoken English
  • Good PC user skills
  • Assertiveness, organizational and negotiating skills, ability to work in a team, leadership skills
  • Market and customer-oriented thinking and onceptual thinking
  • Entrepreneurial personality with a professional, customer-oriented attitude, who is determined, persistent and confident in negotiations, as well as cooperative and persuasive
  • Traveling >20%

Responsibilities:

  • Technical and disciplinary responsibility and management of the team
  • International sales-supporting application technology consulting for internal and external customers, across market segments
  • Strategic expansion of customer loyalty within the scope of research projects
  • Commissioning, evaluating and implementing tribological investigations as part of complaints and development projects
  • Solving customer-specific problems with the help of existing products or, if necessary, initiating new developments by preparing development applications. Planning future new developments and the resources required for this, such as test benches and building up knowledge.
  • Operational planning for the area of responsibility and the development of concepts and strategies to achieve sustainable growth in application technology market segments
  • Writing technical articles, holding technical lectures, presentations; employee and customer training worldwide
