Description:
We are looking for an experienced business development executive that lives and loves growing businesses, creating sales pipeline, and can position cutting edge technology from the C-Suite down. You are passionate about identifying opportunities and working databases, and coaching business development individuals in your team to do the same. You have a hands on approach and positive empowerment attitude to support continuous learning and impressive BD success in your team.
This role requires a strong understanding of the AI and emerging technology market as well as all the technologies associated with it: Gen AI, LLMs, Retrieval Augmented Generation, Foundational Models, Open-Source vs. Closed Source, Cloud Computing etc.
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
- Experience defining and scaling a business development team in a start-up/scale-up environment
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience defining and aligning a business development strategy to an organisation
- Experience using Hubspot and Salesforce
- Hands on experienced in outbound and/or account-based marketing
- Proven ability to coach a team of 3+ members
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Responsibilities:
Your mission will be to scale a high-performing team of Business Development Representatives (BDR) to enable hyper-growth globally.
More specifically, you will be in charge of scaling and coaching the BDR team; aligning on strategy with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), being fully accountable for and transparent on the team’s performance. The BD team is currently composed of 3 (and counting) BDRs with growth identified.
We will need you to help our team reach the next level (e.g., improve pitching, improve productivity, manage the database, identify key gems, etc., while actively identifying lead opportunities pre, during and post marketing campaigns with the CMO, and setting your team on the right path to turn these into sales opportunities for the sales team.
