Description:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a Healthcare or Life sciences’ discipline, plus post-graduate credentials in Business (Marketing, Strategy and/or Business’ Analytics). MBA/Advanced degree is preferred.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare, biotechnology or pharmaceutical company; relevant experience in Business Intelligence role in Pharmaceuticals is a plus.
  • 5+ years of Commercial or Sales’ Management experience.
  • A solid foundation of experience in Sales strategy, Business analytics and Commercial effectiveness, and correlating financial data, analysis and forecasting as part of the Business planning process.
  • Analytical Mindset & Problem-solving skills with an ability to generate insights and develop relevant and realistic Action plans.
  • Strong Technical skills in Power BI, Microsoft applications and Business Analysis tools and full understanding of Pharmaceuticals KPIs and specific datasets.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of a comprehensive framework for the data-driven insights process across EMEA, facilitating the tracking and diagnosis of performance.
  • Oversee and guide teams in developing an end-to-end and dynamic Commercial Intelligent Tool to integrate key business metrics.
  • Position Abbott as a leading insights-driven organization by continuously reviewing and harmonizing all Business Intelligence and Analytics platforms.
  • Provide objective and actionable insights to senior and executive management.
  • Ensure timely delivery and collection of data from affiliates and regions for use in Business Reviews and S&OP meetings.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance and automate data sharing and business communication
  • Pre-LBE reviews: Discuss affiliates’ feedback, communicate analytical insights on commercial performance, and provide action-oriented findings.
  • Post LBE/Business review meetings: Track and follow up on the progress of Commercial Action plans with affiliates.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership team to determine key presentation topics during Business reviews and ensure compliance in coordination with the Regional Head.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Commercial Business leads and partners/stakeholders across the organization.
  • Act as a centralized resource for Commercial Analytics, communicating complex dynamics and challenges in a clear and concise manner to senior leaders and teams across the organization.
  • Champion the upskilling of Commercial teams in data storytelling capabilities, fostering a culture of effectively communicating insights through compelling narratives to drive strategic decision-making.
