Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world’s largest global wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets. We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team working together to provide a world class service to our most valuable clients.

In this role, you will:

• Determine actions necessary to drive and improve business performance and coordinate implementation across the country to deliver in line with AOP
• Responsible for determining the actions to deliver strategic, commercial, customer targets in the UAE
• Monitors financial performance by analysing and managing direct and indirect costs.

? Initiating a change acceptance framework to allow change to embed
? Responsible for executing change initiatives
? Driving streamlining and cost saving initiatives
? Understanding and challenging Global Functions and HOST recharges as applicable

? Initiating corrective actions to minimise impact of cost variances

• Managing the operationalization of incentive process for the UAE
• Support running key working groups spanning across various functions and stakeholders, tracking actions/outcomes.
• Support in producing high quality management review decks that provide insights to WPB performance
• Manage arrangement and mobilization of project related activities
• Create & manage distribution MI
• Developing/designing and coordinating presentations or speeches with senior stakeholders for internal and external audiences
• Project Management of ad-hoc assignments
• Review data and provide insightful executive summaries with relevant background information
• Coordination of Balanced Scorecard activity

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor Degree is mandatory for UAE Visa and Work Permit
• Demonstrated business knowledge, experience of leading a complex business unit with accountability for a P&L
• Ability to build senior relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with senior executives, non-executives, regulators, third parties and internal management teams.
• Ability to use initiative to resolve issues, whilst dealing with a diverse range of stakeholders and team members, distributed across functions and locations.
• A strong, positive attitude with the ability to work on own initiative and under pressure
• Excellent ability to build relationships and influence leadership. A team player who can also work independently
• Conscientious, with a keen eye for detail and a strong focus on accuracy and quality
• Outstanding planning and organization skills – dealing with multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure
• Ability to deal with volume information and prioritize issues accordingly
• Practical experience of major business transformation with some project management experience or exposure
• Financial and accounting acumen
• Ability to manage and mitigate operational risk effectively
• Experience of managing within a complex matrix environment
• Experience working across cultures
• Understanding of Global WPB Risk, its policies and governance mechanisms
• Knowledge of the external environment - regulatory, political, competitor and market
• Knowledge of Digital Business Services – functionally, operationally, and financially
