Summary
We are looking for a “Head of Calibration (m/f/d)” for the “Calibration” department in Production at the Ulm site as soon as possible.
The “Calibration” department is responsible for the calibration, maintenance and repair of test equipment and carries out product safety tests.

Your Tasks

• Technical and disciplinary management of the Calibration department and the associated employees
• Responsible for the direction of the Calibration department and its consistent implementation
• Preparation of personnel and resource planning as well as budget and investment planning
• Responsible contact person for calibration and equipment monitoring
• Operation of an accredited calibration laboratory via the German accreditation body DAkkS
• Ensuring the calibration, maintenance, safety inspection and repair of measuring devices in terms of quality, costs and time
• Preparation of external offers
• Competent representation of the production area within the company and with external customers
• Consistent application of the business system

Willingness to travel nationally and internationally is required.

Your Profile

• Degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, physics or similar
• Experience in leading teams
• Leadership, coordination and integration skills
• Independent and autonomous way of working, flexibility and ability to work in a team
• Assertiveness and judgment with regard to performance, time and cost estimates
• Extremely structured way of working
• Service-oriented thinking and acting
• Possibility of confidentiality obligation
• Good German and English skills
