As the Head of Clearing Operations, you will drive the management of their clearing operations, fostering innovation and efficiency within the Crypto Exchange. This role requires hands-on leadership and attention to detail as you oversee day-to-day operations and chart the strategic course for our clearing function.
Ideally looking for a motivated individual with a grasp of clearing processes, encompassing custody, settlement, and the nuances of both fiat and crypto transfers. Your proficiency in derivatives, futures, CFDs, and analogous financial instruments will be ideal as you navigate intricate regulatory frameworks and mitigate risk.
Collaboration lies at the heart of this role. You will collaborate closely with their management and product teams, alongside second-line control functions, to refine our clearing processes and propel continuous product enhancements.
Success in this role hinges on an entrepreneurial mindset, robust leadership capabilities, and a global perspective.

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Background in derivatives, futures, and CFDs, coupled with a deep understanding of fiat and crypto custody, settlement, and transfer processes
  • Knowledge of regulatory and risk management requirements pertinent to the clearing business
  • Proven leadership experience within operating teams of regulated clearing businesses
  • Demonstrated collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding products and services
  • Track record of effectively managing critical business relationships, both internal and external
  • Experience in futures and derivatives clearing, collateral management, and default management
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing processes and tools, with a focus on ongoing maintenance and auditing
  • Strong emphasis on risk management and internal controls
  • Team-oriented mindset with a fervent drive for innovation and excellence.
