For our client, one of the biggest and best-known European game developers, we are looking for Head of Co-Development
The primary objective of the successful candidate will be to proactively enhance efficiency and overcome resource constraints for internal projects by strategically engaging in co-development partnerships.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Over 10 years of professional experience in the video games industry, with a preference for global experience and a focus on PC/Console games.
  • Demonstrated expertise in co-development and outsource management, ideally within a large video games company.
  • Experience in evaluating and improving capacity planning processes across multiple game production lines, and in coordinating with outsourcing or co-development partners globally.
  • Proficiency in project management and budget management for large-scale projects.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to address challenging situations related to project schedules and scopes.
  • Experience collaborating with support functions (legal, security, procurement, compliance, IT) to initiate and lead co-development initiatives.
  • Ability to draft high-quality procurement documents such as statements of work and requests for proposals.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, initiative, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in cross-cultural work environments.
  • Proficiency in English; familiarity with the game industry market in terms of co-development partners is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking ownership of co-development initiatives throughout the company, streamlining processes, managing partnerships, and delivering reports to executive stakeholders.
  • Driving capacity planning and optimization efforts across our portfolio of projects in development.
  • Providing guidance on capacity planning challenges faced by development teams as they arise.
  • Acting as a liaison across the co-development and outsourcing ecosystem, both within and outside of our organization, to facilitate resource coordination.
