Head of Communications

In this role you will:

• Develop and implement communications strategy to influence key stakeholders, supporting wider strategic imperatives and consistent with business goals and objectives.
• Provide counsel and support to Executives and senior leaders throughout the organisation to support communication strategies aligned to business unit objectives.
• Drive the internal communications agenda to ensure understanding of the vision, purpose and strategy of the organisation and increase employee engagement.
• Review and develop corporate communications delivery channels e.g. intranet, internet, etc, ensuring that these effectively position and deliver key messages.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external business partners, industry associates and other contacts to ensure the continuing availability of appropriate quality services/information and promotion of QBE’s interests.
• Lead and manage the Communications Team to ensure that people, resources and processes are aligned with current and future business needs and fit for purpose.
