A Master’s degree within the field of journalism
Strong research background is an added advantage

Duties and responsibilities
Campaign development and management
Develop and implement programmatic communications and campaign plans for strategy.
Develop strategic implementation and operational plans for rolling out and sustaining campaigns.
Participate in the planning and implementation of campaign projects and tactics to achieve the goals and targets, in consultation with the CEO and head of programmes and ensure alignment of programmatic activities.
Develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks for campaigns in collaboration with programmes personnel.
Digital and press communication
Lead the proactive and reactive promotion of Wethepeople’s work across all media platforms.
Act as a first point of contact for media enquiries, ensuring Wethepeople is able to maximise both proactive and reactive influencing opportunities.
Develop and share with the team a social media strategic implementation plan.
