Oberstown Children Detention Campus (Oberstown) provides care and education for young people referred by the courts on detention or remand orders, supporting them to address their offending and return successfully to society. The campus is located on a single site in Oberstown, Lusk, Co. Dublin. Oberstown falls under the aegis of the Children Detention Schools Unit in the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY) - formerly the Department of Children and Youth Affairs. Oberstown is governed by a single Board of Management which is appointed by the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth.

REQUIREMENTS

Suitably qualified and interested candidates will have demonstrable experience of leading a diverse team, while supporting organisational development and change. With a record of success either in human resources, financial management or organisational change, the appointee will have a proven track record in a multi-disciplinary context linking service delivery to strategic objectives. Candidates must be exceptional communicators with the capacity to engage, inspire, and influence a broad range of stakeholders.
