Description:

DESCRIPTION

A creative imagery and design focussed role, the Head of Creative and Brand Development will be responsible for overseeing all graphic design and photography projects. They will lead the creative teams and ensure the visual representation of our brand is consistent and compelling across all customer touchpoints, campaigns and new product launches.
This senior role requires a leader with a confident vision who can refine the visual approach, inspire creativity, mentor teams and collaborate with other departments to acheive our strategic objectives.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

  • Strong design background with a portfolio that demonstrates a range of design projects and creative solutions across print, digital and store executions.
  • Experience in Brand development and building momentum and consistency around brand vision and guidelines.
  • Strong concept development and excellent design sensibility with expertise in driving creative output across design and photography.
  • Exceptional understanding of typography, layout, colour theory and principles of visual communication
  • Experience in art direction and shoot management for stills/video
  • Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative suite) and an understanding of web and mobile UX best practise
  • Strong project management skills with experience prioritising, managing multiple projects and deadlines and the flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire creative teams to deliver great work.
  • Excellent communication skills and cross-functional working.
  • Exceptional attention to detail; ensuring quality and consistency in all creative work.

Responsibilities:

Brand Development:

  • Review and develop the brand look and feel, both in-store and online.
  • Develop and uphold comprehensive brand guidelines across all creative areas which emphasise the Brand’s positioning and customer proposition.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and bring innovation into the Brand strategy.
  • Creative Direction and Campaigns:
  • Develop and implement the overall Creative strategy in alignment with Brand and Marketing Objectives
  • Lead the creative development and cross-channel execution of all Seasonal campaigns in line with Marketing briefs
  • Lead the creative development of new product launch campaigns, providing innovative and engaging concepts that meet the marketing brief.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of all graphic design projects, ensuring high-quality and brand-consistent visual content.
  • Direct all photography efforts, including campaign and studio output, ensuring all imagery aligns with the brand’s aesthetic and strategic goals
  • Provide art direction for various visual projects, including digital, print, and multimedia as required, ensuring cohesive and impactful visual communication.
  • Project Management and Execution:
  • Prioritise and manage key projects, including brand guidelines, packaging, and store look and feel.
  • Oversee the review and visual enhancement of product range architecture (good, better, best) across all executions
  • Ensure standards for design and photography are integrated and refined.
  • Ensure consistency and quality in all visual communications.
  • Maintain consistency in multichannel campaign delivery, ensuring connected execution across all channels.
  • Oversee the review of workflow management system and critical path tracking.

    Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead and manage the Design and Photography teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

  • Manage the creative budget and ensure that resources and timelines are managed effectively.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development and Channel leads to ensure optimal and cohesive brand messaging and visual campaigns are delivered on time and on budget
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools and technologies and integrate new practices to enhance the creative process.
