Head of Data Analytics

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Computer Science, IT, Statistics, Mathematics, Systems Analytics, or Programming);
• At least 3 years of significant experience in data analytics, data mining, and machine learning, leadership experience is essential;
• Prior hands-on practical experiences in programming languages (such as Python, C#, JAVA, PHP, SQL etc) will be advantageous;
• Good analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy;
• Proficient in English and Mandarin. Must be able to speak, write & ready reports in the Simplified Chinese language to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients, users & counterparts;
• Strong leadership and management skills

• Systematically collects, processes and performs statistical analyses on data sets;
• Review work and report data findings prepared by the assigned staff to ensure accuracy, completeness, clarify, and conformance with standards;
• Serve as the primary point of contact for analytic projects;
• Takes initiative to develop algorithms that enhance data systems and streamline business processes;
• Lead a team of data analysts & programmers to ensure project segments and criteria are met, ensure that projects are delivered timely to clients;
• Bear responsibility, as assigned, for distributing, directing, and evaluating the daily work of assigned staff;
• Implement training programs to improve the data analytical skills of the team members and provide guidance to new hires
• Responsible for ensuring that the Company’s infrastructures and processes have adequate security in place to meet the needs of the clients;
• Collaborate with the management team to develop business and financial plans that promote company growth and manage resources and projects simultaneously to a successful completion;
• Responsible for any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Board and making timely reporting.
