Description:

Head of Digital Marketing, Children’s Services (Fixed Term 12-Month Maternity Cover)
Purpose of the role:
The Head of Digital Marketing will oversee and execute the digital marketing strategies and initiatives for CareTech’s Children’s Services and its subsidiaries. You will be critical in driving brand awareness, increasing online visibility, and maximising acquisition through various digital channels. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in leading the redevelopment of our website to enhance user experience, optimise conversion rates, and align with our brand identity and business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance CareTech’s digital presence through various digital channels, including but not limited to SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing.
  • Oversee development of core digital content and social media strategies to generate leads, enrich engagement, and achieve brand alignment.
  • Lead on the redevelopment of our website with our 3rd party digital agency, from implementation to launch, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, user experience best practices, and business objectives.
  • Responsibility of the development and implementation of SEO strategies during the website redevelopment process, ensuring that the new website is optimised for search engine visibility and ranking.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager, Children’s Services, and the Lead Graphic Designer to oversee the migration of existing website content to the new platform, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
  • Work closely with our 3rd party agency to implement SEO best practices, including on-page optimization, site structure, and technical SEO elements.
  • Establish tracking mechanisms to monitor website performance, user engagement, and conversion rates post-launch.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership across Children’s websites to ensure maximum engagement with key audiences
  • Drive innovation and encourage the wider and marketing team to embed best practice and identify new digital trends
  • Ensure any changes in legislation or regulation are implemented or observed
  • Play an active role in any working groups when digital presence is required and champion the use of analytical tools across the marketing and corporate teams
  • Report on and propose improvements on performance across digital channels

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in digital marketing roles, with a track record of success in developing and executing digital marketing strategies that drive measurable results.
  • Demonstrable experience in website development and management, with a strong understanding of UX/UI principles, SEO best practices, web analytics and tracking.
  • Leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in interpreting data to drive actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.
