HE ANGITŪTANGA | THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a Head of Distribution Operations whose key responsibilities include directing and optimizing our distribution channels, emphasizing efficient delivery, and ensuring alignment across our business. This role will ensure channel alignment, establish robust compliance frameworks, and maintain consistent delivery of our products and services to both our Members and future target markets.
At its core, this role involves supporting the design and execution of MAS Distribution Strategy and Plans. The primary objective is to align with the direction and focus of MAS within our new operating model. Collaborating closely with leaders in the Distribution and Marketing team, as well as across the organisation, the role aims to implement a unified growth plan. The overarching goal is to create a focused approach for MAS to remain viable and competitive in an evolving social and business landscape.

HE KŌRERO MŌU | KEY ATTRIBUTES WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking individuals with a strategic mindset who can demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 8 years experience as a senior-level Sales & Distribution manager.
  • A focus on Members aligned with MAS’s purpose and a commercial perspective.
  • A strong background in channel development and strategic planning.
  • Proven experience leading target growth initiatives including process and channel improvements leading to enhanced Member outcomes.
  • Interpersonal savvy and strong communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Track record of operating at a senior or strategic leader level in distribution or sales.
