HEAD OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

to join our Engineering organisation in Porvoo, Finland. We have applied a Smart Work Concept which enables flexible working practices.
As part of Neste strategy for sustainability and decarbonization of society, a substantial amount of investment projects will be executed during the coming years. Engineering is a vital part of the investment projects in order to guarantee efficient and qualified investments. We drive for continuous improvements for our way of working, personnel and partner network. To lead and develop our Electrical Engineering operations we are looking for a Head of Electrical Engineering.

YOUR ROLE IN OUR TEAM

• Lead and develop Electrical Engineering organisation to support implementation of Neste strategy
• Planning and implementation of actions to improve performance of Electrical engineering operations with target to increase the efficiency of investment projects and engagement of personnel
• Secure and develop competences and resources for Electrical Engineering both internally and with external partner network
• Cooperate closely with Engineering organisation and all disciplines in investment project operations
  You will report to the VP, Engineering and will be part of the Engineering Leadership team. Work will be done in close cooperation with the whole Neste Technology & Projects organisation and together with wider Neste.
  This position will allow you to get exposure to the large investment portfolio and engineering works of a large stock listed company. The work also entails close cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

THE BEST COMBINATION TO SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE

• Good knowledge and several years of experience from Electrical Engineering for industrial assets
• 5+ years of experience and proof of successful performance in management positions for professional organisation
• Understanding and experience of engineering processes and systems
• Proof of strong stakeholder and change management skills
• Strong drive for performance and efficiency and experience from development projects
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English
• MSc (or similar higher university degree) in Electrical Engineering or related field
