Summary
We are looking for a “Head of Electronics Planning (f/m/d)” for the “Electronics/MW Production” department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.
The main department “Electronics/MW Production” is responsible for the production and testing of printed circuit boards as well as hybrid high-frequency assemblies, which are manufactured using various manual and automated processes. The products from this area can be found in almost all HENSOLDT Sensors products and therefore work very cross-sectionally. The Electronics Planning department is responsible for the work preparation and control of all orders across the entire value chain.

Your Tasks

• Responsible for personnel planning, personnel development and deployment planning in a department of approx. 15 employees
• Responsible for order processing along the value chain
• Ensuring delivery performance in terms of deadlines, costs and quality
• Communication interface to internal and external customers
• Evaluation, implementation and management of make-or-buy decisions
• Improving profitability and focusing on the core competencies of electronics production
• Continuous identification, planning and implementation of measures to industrialize our products and processes
• Supporting the strategic alignment and development of Electronics / MW Production
• Cooperation in the development and introduction of new production concepts and standards
• Preparation of personnel and investment planning
• Support with internal production projects and active participation in project reviews
• Support in the preparation of offers and acquisition of new production orders

Your Profile

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, production engineering or industrial engineering or comparable training
• Several years of experience in project management
• Experience in the application of modern methods such as lean production or control loops for continuous improvement
• Comprehensive knowledge of the factors in production that create added value
• Very broad knowledge of the requirements for the development and production of electronic assemblies
• Independent working style, high assertiveness and good organizational skills
• Strong communication skills, strong sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team
• Entrepreneurial thinking with a focus on customer orientation
• Fluent German and business fluent English skills
