The Category manager Engineering Services (ES) is responsible for the external spend (or PVO, purchase volume) in engineering areas (e.g., for services in design, development, simulation, certification and measurement & validation), and the associated supplier landscape. In close alignment with stakeholder departments (product technology; customer, service, operations engineering) you and your team will ensure that Siemens Energy’s needs for Engineering Services are met, that Siemens Energy’s supplier landscape for this area is maintained and further developed, and that strong contracts secure material and service deliveries as well as supplier relationships.
