We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Estates and Maintenance to join the team and support our growing business, remotely. Reporting to the Director of Estates and Facilities Management, the Head of Estates and Maintenance will be responsible for the management and delivery of the reactive and planned maintenance programme for the Priory, to ensure all sites remain compliant with Statutory inspections and are safe for our service users, colleagues and visitors. They will also lead, manage and develop the Central Estates Maintenance Team and work with the Estates Director and the wider Estates Team on the delivery of the ‘Priory Green’ agenda.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure a robust maintenance regime is in place by managing a centrally appointed Helpdesk - overseeing the execution of approximately 20,000 orders per annum.
- Manage and coordinate statutory inspections and service schedules to ensure full compliance with all Building / Estates legislation.
- Ensure contractors are appointed appropriately, and perform to the required standard to meet the needs of the Priory Estate and to ensure all relevant KPI’s are achieved.
- Provide technical support and be the subject lead on all maintenance appertaining to a large healthcare estate.
- Liaise with contractors and colleagues to communicate with all stakeholders regarding the maintenance function across the Group.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies within the Estates function. As and when required, tender works to ensure best value for money is being obtained on reactive and planned maintenance.
