The Opportunity
We have an great opportunity for a Head of Field and Logistics to join our team in Melbourne. The Head of Field and Logisitics role at Vocus is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing all field operations and logistics functions.
This role ensures that our network infrastructure is robust, our field teams are efficient, and our logistical processes are streamlined to support both operational excellence and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale field operations, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of supply chain and logistics management within the telecommunications industry.
What you’ll be doing day-to-day
Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in field operations and logistics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the telecommunications industry.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale field operations and complex networks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Solid understanding of telecommunications technology and infrastructure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, while adhering to deadlines and delivering high-quality results
