In your role as the Head of Field Medical, you will have the incredible opportunity to shape the healthcare landscape in Australia through driving excellence in field medical practices for our upcoming product launches.
Jobs to be done:
- Develop a capability building plan for field medical associates, including disease area and product-specific training content, to enhance their skills.
- Enhance and implement field team excellence framework and competency assessment to drive excellence in execution by embedding best practices and high-performance standards.
- Drive coaching excellence through the field medical team, providing effective and impactful coaching to enhance their performance.
- Uphold and drive the standards of medical and scientific excellence within the country Franchise.
- Take charge of planning, executing, and reporting field medical performance across the Australian field medical organization
- Strategically collaborate and influence senior leaders from various functions and external partners to support medical product plans, clinical development, scientific communications, and engagement with medical experts.
- Champion and lead by example in promoting the company’s culture, values, and behaviors across their teams.
- Build robust digital infrastructure to manage data, engage, stakeholders, and ensure compliance in a rapidly evolving landscape.
- Participate in the recruitment and hiring of new field medical team members in collaboration with Medical Heads.
- Develop onboarding, training, and assessment plan for new field medical team members.
- Stay informed about the external field medical environment, particularly in relation to Novartis therapeutic areas, to provide valuable insights to the organization.
