Responsibilities:
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Financial accounting: preparation of financial accounts and establishing accounting policies/procedures. Prepares financial reports and budgets for the executive to support the financial decision-making process.
- Financial Management: Oversee all financial aspects of the program, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
- Financial Reporting: Develop and maintain a comprehensive financial reporting system for the program, ensuring all reports are accurate, timely, and compliant with regulations.
- Partner Negotiations: Lead financial negotiations with coalition partners, ensuring fair and profitable program structure for Sanlam Rewards & Loyalty.
- Revenue Management: Develop and implement strategies to maximise program revenue through member acquisition, engagement, and redemption optimisation.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks associated with the program.
- Compliance: Ensure all program activities comply with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Data Analytics: Collaborate with the IT team to utilise data analytics for financial insights and optimise program profitability.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with other Sanlam Rewards & Loyalty teams (Marketing, Sales, IT) to ensure program financial alignment with overall business objectives.
This role plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of Sanlam’s participation in the coalition reward program. By combining financial expertise with strategic thinking and the ability to build strong relationships, the Head of Finance & Accounting will be instrumental in maximising program value and achieving Sanlam’s financial objectives.
