Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for leading the site’s financial planning and budgeting processes, managing the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, and proactively reviewing and managing the operations capital expenditure, inventory and expenditure and product costs. You will also be responsible for conducting financial analysis and providing insights to support decision-making processes. Additionally, you will lead and mentor finance team members, providing guidance and support for their growth and development.
Reporting to the Country Site Lead, you will ensure that statutory reporting requirements and local tax requirements are fully in line with local legal requirements and AZ accounting principles and standards. You will lead activities related to AstraZeneca’s ambitious sustainability strategy by promoting sustainable work practices and acting on opportunities for improvement.

ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE:

  • CPA/CA or equivalent qualification and experience in a similar finance leadership role within a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop sound relationships within the business and operate successfully as a trusted adviser; communicate key business performance insights to key internal leadership teams to provide clarity and drive decision making
  • Ability to develop and implement financial strategies to support long-term business growth
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Strong numerical, analytical skills and high level of expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
