Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Bold is looking for a Head of Finance to oversee all financial aspects of the organization including financial planning, revenue and cost analysis, accounting, reporting and budgeting. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will collaborate with the executive team to set business metrics and drive strategic initiatives that contribute to the company’s growth and profitability. Additionally, they will ensure compliance with financial regulations and optimize financial processes to enhance performance management and support decision-making.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead a team of accounting and finance professionals, ensuring efficient operations and effective collaboration
  • Assess the company’s cash runway and present financial results, strategies, and recommendations to C-Suite and Board committees
  • Manage budgeting, metric reporting, capital raising, revenue and cost analysis, and deal profitability
  • Support cross-functional units on matters related to product pricing, cost determination, and financial metrics
  • Review financial models and forecasts to anticipate potential impacts on financial growth
  • Utilize key financial ratios to assess the company’s financial health and identify the most profitable products or product lines
  • Thoroughly examine liquidity and costing reports to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s financial standing
  • Identify financial trends and report on the organization’s financial performance
  • Lead the execution of business development initiatives and strategic decisions, such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, partnerships, and other key endeavours
  • Research economic conditions in the software and SaaS industry and incorporate findings into financial models
  • Coordinate with financial institutions to execute capital raising mandates
  • Review financial and regulatory documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Oversee the maintenance and implementation of all necessary corporate insurance policies
