Description:

dentolo Deutschland GmbH, a leading Insurtech company in the insurance industry, is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Head of Finance. As the Head of Finance, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial operations of the company. You will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement financial strategies and scalable structures that align with the company’s goals and objectives.

As the Head of Finance, you will contribute to our mission by ensuring the financial stability and transparency of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Take over the operational responsibility to build up our Finance function, including hiring, performance & development reviews and team performance.
  • Drive structure building, process improvement, problem solving and specialist knowledge growth in the teams, support where necessary.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including our tax office, banks, auditors, financial institutions and the Zurich/ DA Finance Functions
  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure effective financial management and compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly and annual financial statements, budget forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, including cash flow projections and treasury functions.
  • Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Support the financial planning and budgeting process, including the development and monitoring of budgets.
