Responsibilities:

Reporting into the General Manager of NZ, our Head of Finance is based in Auckland and leads a highly capable finance team and holds a well-rounded, overarching scope. The role will combine a mix of both overseeing financial day-to-day controls to ensure we are fully compliant and commercial finance and analyses and become pivotal in business operations. This role will see you:

  • Lead the annual budget and planning cycle, partnering with regional & global teams to ensure accuracy and financial understanding.
  • Oversee all daily operations, including bank reconciliations and cashflow forecasting.
  • Coordinate month-end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and preparation of financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Support global financial projects.
  • Partner with the NZ business across multiple brands
  • Preparation of annual financial statements
  • Manage payable/creditor processes and payroll.
  • Contribute to the design of internal controls and finance risk management framework.Provide strategic input into the direction of Allpress NZ
