Head of Finance (Production) - German required (m/f/d)

Within Grid Solutions, the Power Transmission (PT) business unit is responsible for the development, production, sales, and service of high- and medium-voltage products that help customers decarbonize the grid and expand global electrification.
With an order volume of 2.6 billion US dollars, Power Transmission (PT) employs 7,000 people around the world. The product portfolio includes transformers, air- and gas-insulated switchgear, power quality products, and sf6-free g3 technology.
Due to our exponential growth, we are looking to hire a Head of Finance for our manufacturing site in Mönchengladbach.
As a Site Finance Leader, you will be responsible for making the right decisions going forward to secure financial target achievement, based on consolidated transparency of the financial performance for the Transformer production facility.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Have a passion for production sites and a sense for the importance to lead the change;

• Must have bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Economics or/and MBA
• +5 years of experience leading a financial team in a manufacturing site
• High interests in the field of production & project management
• Experienced using SAP (Advanced) & MS Office application
• Previous experience at international and matrix organizations
• Fluency both in German and English
• Certain level of expertise in the fields of tax, accounting & treasury
• Might perform evaluations of assets and liabilities and manages inventory
• Strong experience working into similar role would be key

• Being the finance head for the location and ensuring overall financial compliance across the site
• Leading the planning and calculation of yearly budgets, for the organization unit assigned with the high focus towards production & commercial project management
• Being the finance leader for the commercial project management (from inquiry to delivery)
• High focus to improve productivity to further enhance capacities and cost competitiveness
• Performing comparisons to Actual vs. Plan and pursues effects of agreed measures
• Analyzing and evaluation of cost structures, including the identification of cost out potentials and the implementation of the respective measures
• Carrying out ad-hoc analyses and profitability calculations, and contributes to conceptual and project work related to controlling
• Supporting the technical organization to further improve the current business situation and increase the overall productivity level
• Perform evaluations of assets and liabilities and manages inventory measures on a regular term
