HEAD OF FINANCE SINGAPORE/SOUTH ASIA
We are looking for a Head of Finance for Asendia Singapore/South Asia. The position will be based in Singapore and reporting to the CEO of Singapore/South Asia. You are a strong business partner to the CEO to drive the business strategy for Asendia Singapore/South Asia, and you are involved in strategic financial plans to ensure the company’s healthy cash flow, profitability, and continued success. This is a critical position that requires meticulous execution and oversight of all financial and accounting responsibilities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal and external standards. You are also accountable for of the business’s budgeting, financial planning and analysis, pricing, and profitability management, as well as establishing efficiency and process improvements within your finance team.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting and finance functions; develop and manage local financial and accounting policies to comply with GAAP, IFRS, tax requirement and other rules and regulations, as well as regulatory reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounts and statutory accounts and ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and IFRS accounting standards.
- Responsible for organising Annual General Meeting with Board of Directors of the legal entity; and preparation and presentation of financial updates in monthly business review meetings with the senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as regional office and head office, to provide financial guidance, conduct information analysis, and offer recommendations.
- Identify and mitigate key aspects of company’s financial risk that could negatively impact the company’s performance by conducting financial analysis on products, operation efficiency and expenses to provide insights for decision-making and identify risks and opportunities.
- Design/streamline F&A processes to ensure business efficiency by driving finance operations & process excellence within own team via technology transformation and automation.
- Lead and manage team to achieve excellent teamwork, team competencies and operations excellence.
