WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

This position offers an exciting and challenging opportunity for someone to join the senior management of the finance function in a key division within Bank of Ireland Group.
The role provides an opportunity to advance their accounting and senior leadership capability in a major company in the Life & Pensions industry.
The role involves reporting and presenting to the Board Audit Committee on the Financial statements at Group and Statutory level and on Solvency II QRT’s and SFCR / RSR.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Lead the Wealth & Insurance Division Financial control and reporting team
  • Group Reporting on the recently introduced IFRS17 basis.
  • New Ireland Statutory Financial Statements.
  • The preparation of Solvency II QRT’s and the Solvency & Financial Condition Report.
  • Overall Financial Control within New Ireland and ensure the company operates to the highest control standards including ensuring that all IFC obligations are met.
  • Manage the key relationships so as to ensure all internal and external reporting obligations are met, risks are appropriately handled and operational processes are effective.
