Are you ready to take the reins of our Media and Communications Outreach program, driving engagement and awareness within the SCIP community? We are seeking a proactive and versatile individual to manage our entire media infrastructure and lead impactful campaigns that resonate with both internal and external stakeholders.
As the Head of Media and Communications Outreach, you will spearhead social media campaigns, oversee day-to-day operations across various communication platforms, and foster connections within regional Intelligence communities to elevate global awareness and generate leads. Your passion for harnessing the power of social media will be pivotal in implementing best practices across all channels, ensuring our messaging reaches its intended audience effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Communications Media Strategy.
  • Manage global communication platforms across digital, virtual, and physical channels.
  • Optimize SEO for video platforms like YouTube to enhance visibility.
  • Drive engaging media campaigns around the globe.
  • Cultivate collaboration with regional organizations for increased awareness and lead generation.
  • Craft compelling social media content aligned with brand identity.
  • Monitor and analyze real-time social media activity and user feedback.
  • Engage with followers and respond to queries promptly.
  • Develop and oversee social influencer programs.
  • Utilize analytics tools to evaluate social media performance.
  • Proof and publish organizational media content.
  • Prepare regular reports on social media marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with Event Marketing and SCIP marketing teams.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in social media.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • 3 or more years of social media experience including planning and managing content in a corporate, or agency setting.
  • Familiarity and expert usage of a wide spectrum of social media channels and workstreams, including X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Youtube, among others…
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
  • Experience using various analytics software.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
