Atlas Copco AB is looking for a Head of Group Compliance to join the legal team based at the Group’s headquarter located in Sickla, Stockholm for a period of 12 months. Atlas Copco Group Legal currently has six lawyers in Sickla, out of in total 35 lawyers in different locations around the world, covering a large geographical area and supporting the business with a wide variety of legal matters.

Responsibilities:

You will be heading the compliance support to Atlas Copco’s global organization in all areas in which the Atlas Copco Group is operating. Your main tasks will be to support the business with legal and compliance advice, as well as structure, develop and implement Group processes, policies and strategies related to for example trade compliance and the rapidly evolving landscapes of environmental, social and governance (ESG). You will further provide support in relation to for example whistleblower investigations, anti-money laundry, competition law, anti-bribery and corruption.
Through collaboration with other functions, communication and training, you will support and raise awareness of compliance related topics and the importance of adherence to applicable laws, sanctions, regulations and internal guidelines for Atlas Copco’s reputation and profitability, and ensure that the Group proactively identifies and addresses risks and opportunities.
A majority of Atlas Copco’s business is international, and you will work in a global environment, both with internal and external counterparties. The position reports to the Chief Legal Officer, who is also based in Sickla.
