We are eager to connect with ambitious and savvy candidates who thrive in the areas of new business pursuit and growth – with a strong media focus, this role will also encourage you to work across the broader dentsu group, enabling go to market strategies encompassing Creative, CXM & Digital Transformation as well as Media solutions.
You will work closely with both Regional and Global dentsu stakeholders – leading pitches, writing RFPs, Pitch responses, working with design teams and ensuring world class client comms. This is an excellent opportunity to work with our most senior leaders and the very best talent in our network.

The role:

  • To create momentum and accountability to drive organic growth in the media business with Media MDs, and broader dentsu Group leaders
  • To find, lead and support specific pursuit intentions to reach growth and revenue targets for media and broader dentsu Group with national Executives and SLT
  • To upskill others in the space of growth and pursuit management, from beginning to end, and make it fun!
  • Working closely with executive leadership APAC to feed Media opportunities into the broader Dentsu roll up
  • Navigate and support the solutions and strategy teams
  • Lead pitch and processes where needed – RFPs, RFIs

Core responsibilities:

  • Cross media comms functions to understand all paths of the growth journey
  • Management of the organic revenue pipeline Nationally
  • Ensuring all reporting is tracked in appropriate tracker and in Salesforce
  • Fortnightly meetings with each state team to keep opportunities on track.
  • Development of a dashboard for ELT to see at a high level how we are tracking vs target
  • Working with the MDs/GMs and Client Partners Nationally on growing organic revenue across our client base
  • Ensuring that the Media teams have a good understanding of the Dentsu offering and are able to spot opportunities
  • Working with the Media teams nationally and Dentsu agencies to build recommendations to present to clients
  • Establishes and executes the growth strategy for a growth team focused on new logo and cross/up-sell to existing clients
  • Oversees demand generation, account growth planning and proactive targeting strategy for driving pipe volume
  • Manages a large pipeline of deal flow and enforces adherence to the standard growth methodology and adoption of Engine Room
  • Develops and leverages strong working relationships with leadership to align on targeted services, strong value propositions, pricing, process and support structure to drive growth
  • Defines budget needs for sales resources and subsequent tools and support required to generate and win new business
  • Ensures coordination with multiple markets, LoBs and Alliance Partnerships to grow company revenue
  • Leads and develops a high performing Growth team
  • Maintains strong working relationships with influencers, i.e., consultants, analysts, comms team

A bit about you:

  • Proven experience and success with new business engagement, large pitch work and integrated solution selling
  • Know what great looks like in GTM product
  • Media and comms expertise with understanding and experience or curiosity to learn broader Group offering s (Creative, CXM, Technology)
  • Know the client landscape to proactively share ideas and angles across Creative and Technology as well as Media
