Key Responsibilities
As the Head of HR Operations, you will be the functional expert concentrating on delivering an agile, customer-focused, continuously improving People Operations team that provides the intelligence, and range of services to drive organisational and individual capabilities to deliver on SYMCA’s strategic goals and priorities.
Responsible for the People Services account management and for the delivery of business partnering through delivery of a high performing operations team of HR Advisors and business improvement which support the organisation to deliver on its strategic priorities.
Ensuring operations team provides first-class professional support, guidance, and coaching for customers at all levels on case management, people analytics, and organisational changes.
Working closely with Head of HR Change and Head of OD and Talent Management in driving and developing the People strategies that deliver on organisational priorities and high performance.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
CIPD qualified level 7 or equivalent
Extensive experience of leading and delivering a digitally enabled shared service
Clear understanding of legislation to ensure HR policies and practices remain up to date
Experienced in evaluation methodology - Korn Ferry Hay
Experience in risk management and business continuity planning
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Leadership skills that drive high performance in line with company’s values and leadership framework
Strong management skills to provide leadership and guidance across Operations team
Great communicator and influencer by being collaborative and engaging
Develop and maintain highly effective relationships
Solutions focussed with a desire and ability to innovate, be creative and conceptual
