Description:
Our client in the banking industry is urgently looking for an experienced HR practitioner to join them.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the HR Singapore function to ensure that the HR team provide smooth and efficient HR services to the Singapore Branch.
- Actively engage department heads in providing professional advice on headcount planning, recruitment selection, staff matters and employee development.
- Oversee the timely and accurate processing of the monthly payroll as well as the prompt and accurate submission of annual income and benefits for all staff to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore.
- Propose the annual staff cost budget to Head Office for approval and ensure that staff cost are kept well within the approved budget.
- Review all report deliverables to ensure accurate and timely submission to various parties, such as Head Office and local regulatory authorities.
- Establish and review HR policies and procedures regularly to ensure compliance with the Singapore employment law, legislations and aligned with industry’s best practices.
- Plan and organise engaging social activities for the Bank to foster closer interaction and bonding among the staff.
- Oversee the annual evaluation of the outsourced payroll vendor to ensure that their operating procedure meets MAS Outsourcing Guidelines before renewing the service agreement.Responsible for employee development, employee retention, workflow efficiency and change management
