This rare opportunity suits a senior HR professional aiming to advance in the Head of HR APAC role within a progressive global organisation. Your proactive approach will drive positive change management, overseeing a diverse HR team across multiple sites. You’ll shape policy and provide expert advice to APAC Executive and Management teams on employment and industrial relations matters.
Collaborating with management, you’ll identify HR priorities and recommend solutions for organisational development, culture, and change. As Head of HR, you’ll ensure programs align closely with the parent company Sandvik Group’s vision, values, and goals, steering the company’s strategic direction as part of the Senior Leadership Team.
Responsibilities:
Align HR strategies with company objectives, working closely with the Regional CEO and global HR.
Provide strong leadership, supervising HR team and coordinating personnel-related insurance providers.
- Oversee training and development initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Lead organisation development initiatives including succession planning, workforce development, and change management.
- Ensure legal compliance and manage complex industrial relations matters.
- Drive recruitment practices and pay strategies, conducting market research and working closely with Sandvik Group C&B team.
- Manage EHS and Workers Compensation matters, liaising with relevant authorities and ensuring compliance with policies.
- Coordinate HR projects and participate in globally-established organisational projects.
