JOB DESCRIPTION

Manages a team of Investment Grade sales people alongside his or her role as a producing salesperson. Applicant must demonstrate strong leadership skills, ability to mentor junior talent, maintain well established client relationships, show a thorough understanding of market structure, and have a vision around how to shape a sell side platform to compete in the evolving marketplace.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Monitor team production and identify areas where individuals and the platform can improve.
  • Participate in senior level discussions regarding how to grow and transform the investment grade platform.
  • Develop strategies to help grow revenues in a cost-effective manner.
  • Identify and implement protocols to help sales team members grow and become more effective in their daily responsibilities.
  • Work closely with head of trading, and members of syndicate and origination to ensure each team is aligned toward common goals.
  • Continue to educate oneself around innovations in the marketplace and how the US Bank platform can capitalize on innovation.

Preferred Skill/Experience:

  • 10+ years of Investment Grade Sales Experience
  • Management and Supervisory Experience
  • Seasoned leadership abilities and strategic management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-developed analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Considerable tact, diplomacy, and intrapersonal skills
  • Strong Executive Presence
