As a Head of Investments ANZ Staff Super, you will be responsible for developing and implementing investment strategies aligned with ANZSS’s objectives, Investment Governance Framework, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements in members’ best financial interests.

Responsibilities:

Conducting thorough research and analysis of market trends, asset classes, and investment opportunities to identify optimal investment strategies.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of ANZSS’s investments, recommending/making timely adjustments to optimize returns and manage risks effectively.
Cultivating relationships with external investment managers, consultants, and other stakeholders to access diverse investment opportunities and staying abreast of industry best practices.
Provide incisive reports and advice to the CEO, Investment Committee, Board of Directors, and other stakeholders on ANZSS’s investment performance, outlook, and strategic initiatives.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and fiduciary responsibilities, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and transparency in all activities.
Leading the investment team, and fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
What will you bring?
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Extensive experience (10+ years) in investment management, preferably within the Australian superannuation industry.
Proven track record of successful investment strategy development and portfolio management.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Sound understanding of financial markets, asset allocation principles, and risk management approach.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and make informed decisions under pressure.
