Description:

We are looking for an experienced investor relations professional to join our team in Berlin as Head of Investor Relations. If you have a passion for relationship building and the venture capital space, join us to lead our investor relations efforts and play a central role in the future success of Cavalry.

Responsibilities:

  • Craft and implement comprehensive investor relations strategies to attract and retain investors while enhancing the Cavalry’s market positioning.
  • Manage investor communications. Serve as the primary point of contact for all investor inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate, and effective communication regarding fund performance, investment strategies, and market trends.
  • Plan and conduct regular investor meetings, including quarterly updates, annual general meetings, and special briefings to keep investors informed and engaged.
  • Continuously monitor economic, sector-specific, and financial market trends to provide strategic advice and insights to the leadership team and investors.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new investors, including educational initiatives about the fund’s strategies, governance, and performance metrics.
  • Manage and update Cavalry’s investor database to ensure accuracy and compliance, facilitating effective segmentation and personalised communication.
  • Support the preparation of detailed financial reports, performance analyses, and presentations that align with regulatory requirements and provide clear insights to investors.
  • Work closely with the investment and operations teams to ensure a consistent message and to leverage internal expertise in investor communications.
  • At least three years of experience in investor relations or a related field, preferably in venture capital or private equity.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesise complex information in an easy-to-understand yet compelling way.
  • Ability to think strategically and provide insight regarding market trends, investor concerns, and the competitive landscape.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address investor queries effectively and strategise on complex issues.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a hands-on attitude
  • Familiarity with the regulatory environment affecting investor relations is a plus.
