SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of investor relations experience with a publicly listed company.
  • Thorough understanding of ASX and NZX regulations.
  • Background in FMCG and China consumer market are advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a professional manner.
  • Experience coordinating investor engagement activities and engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

One of a2MC’s four strategic goals is to create long-term, enduring value for shareholders and a trusted, transparent relationship. As the Head of Investor Relations, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will heavily support this goal through cultivating strong relationships with The a2 Milk Company’s investing community. You will be a2MC’s key liaison with investors, analysts and other key stakeholders, and be responsible for coordinating key investor engagement activities. This role requires a leader with significant experience managing senior investor relations responsibilities and accountabilities for ASX / NZX listed companies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive investor relations strategy.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and being responsive to investor needs.
  • Organise investor relations activities such as briefings, roadshows, and conferences.
  • Oversee the development of market announcements, results materials, Q&A, and briefing content.
  • Participate in investor, analyst and other external meetings, and represent the company at industry conferences, investor forums, and relevant associations
  • Monitor market trends and investor sentiment to provide insights to the executive team and Board.
  • Peer and competitor analysis: assist in the monitoring of global and domestic industry peers and ‘similar’ consumer businesses, and prepare periodic and ad-hoc analysis of key metric and key trends across the regional and global consumer industry.
  • Build strong relationships with investors, analysts, and internal teams.
