Description:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within IT Security Engineering or Cybersecurity.
  • In-depth knowledge of security principles, practices, technologies, and standards.
  • Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and cloud computing platforms.
  • Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, WAF, etc.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT security engineers.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members in executing security initiatives effectively.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT security engineering strategy aligned with the bank’s overall security objectives.
  • Identify emerging threats and trends in cybersecurity and proactively implement measures to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that security solutions align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures for the bank’s IT systems and networks.
  • Conduct security reviews and assessments of infrastructure components, applications, and services.
  • Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for security enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures to address security incidents effectively.
  • Oversee vulnerability management processes, including identification, prioritization, and remediation of security vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate identified risks.
  • Work closely with internal audit teams and external regulators to demonstrate compliance and address audit findings.
