A licensed Payment entity is hiring for a Head of Legal and Compliance to support and advise on a broad range of legal and regulatory matters.

Your responsibilities will be to:
- Provide sound, coherent and commercially minded legal advice and compliance support on all matters relating to the organisation’s day-to-day activities
- Build strong regulatory relationships with MAS and other regulatory bodies in championing the adoption of best industry standards
- Review and provide recommendations on the legal/compliance aspects and considerations for the development and deployment of new products and services as well as any key business initiatives
- Advise on the impact of laws, regulations and codes on current or proposed business activities
skills and experience required
- Relevant experience in Legal and Compliance positions within law firms or financial institutions; experience in a fintech environment will be an added advantage
- Well versed in the payment landscape
- Familiarity with Payment Service Act and MAS regulations
- Enjoy the start-up culture and thrive in a fast-paced demanding ecosystem
