Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Legal to be the trusted legal advisor to the management and business units and manage a team. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As Head of Legal, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the legal framework within which our client operates. Your leadership skills and expertise will be crucial in providing comprehensive legal advisory services across various sectors.

The primary responsibilities are:

• Offer legal advice and support for the Group’s business and operations across various matters such as contracts, regulatory compliance, litigation, employment law, intellectual property and corporate governance.
• Draft, negotiate and vet contracts, legal documents and agreements.
• Develop framework for legal and corporate governance to manage the Group’s legal and business risk.
• Provide leadership and ensure efficient management of staff and resources.
• Manage internal and external legal counsels on the Group’s litigation, other legal and compliance matters.
• Raise awareness amongst the business units about the legal risks to the Group.
• Develop and continuously update relevant policies and procedures.
• Stay updated with all relevant changes of laws/regulations/rules and provide advice to the Group accordingly.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings, working with outside counsel when required.
• Perform and coordinate ad-hoc (legal) projects for the Group as required.
