The Main Component Exchange Department (MCE) is part of Vestas’ Offshore Service organization within the North Central Europe Region (NCE). Our responsibility is to ensure the seamless exchange of main components across our NCE fleet, thus enhancing the customer experience and maintaining high-quality service.
The department is part of the Service Offshore organization in the Vestas NCE Region. Here you will become part of a committed team of +500 colleagues who are working daily on delivering Best-in-Class Offshore Services to our trusted customers. This includes strategy work, operational enhancements, quality and Health and Safety, technical and vessel case management, and the delivery of execution of complex MCE projects across the NCE offshore portfolio.
You will be reporting directly to the Director of Special Projects, NCE Service Offshore, you will play a vital role in overseeing a diverse team of 18 project managers and professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in a management position in construction or maintenance delivery businesses, ideally with experience from an offshore industry or wind
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent
  • Proven ability to achieve high level results through on-going
  • organizational and business systems development using an effective change management and continuous improvement methodology
  • Proven abilities to supervise complex international projects
  • Ability to select/retain Project Managers; additional project support and build an effective Project Management Team
  • Experienced with third party negotiations, recommendation with supporting business cases and claim handling

Responsibilities:

Our new manager for Main Components will be responsible for developing the department and ensuring growth and quality in project management.

  • Enhancing and strengthening the collaboration between main stakeholders, service sites and customers
  • Improving and motivating an engaging working environment in the team while ensuring solid and efficient processes

  • Inspiring and encouraging the department to promote safety and quality values into the individual projects
  • Co-develop and implement strategies for achieving team and company vision
