Description:

We are super excited to announce that we are now looking for a Head of Marketing to join our Head Office team in London.
As the Head of Marketing for Rituals UK & Ireland, you will be responsible for building the brand across all sales channels. The Head of Marketing will successfully translate the Global Marketing strategy to the needs of the UK & Ireland market to maximise sales in line with the brand values and objectives.
This role will play a significant role in the exciting growth plans of our global business by ensuring commercial and brand KPI targets are met. You report to the Global Head of Marketing, which iniciates the global perspective and alignments of your role, while also having a dotted line the UK&IE Managing Director, which ensures a local market focus.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Build the brand through high impact (360) campaigns and lead the execution of the local marketing campaigns and promotional plans across all sales channels
  • Establish partnerships with media outlets and other brands to generate trial & raise brand awareness
  • Manage PR events, coverage; recruit and relationship with PR agency to enhance brand awareness
  • Develop and localise the global Social Media strategy, including influencers and ambassadors’ programs to engage with customers and promote the brand
  • Retail Marketing to generate traffic and raise ATV; Guard and rollout marketing plan across own stores and Wholesale partners (both on and offline)
  • Digital marketing will play a key part in the omnichannel approach we have across all our lines of business
  • Ensuring consistency in brand messaging and visuals for all assets, marketing tools and communication
  • Building Customer Engagement and Value. Develop a plan to address all customer segments and growth opportunities. Partner with the Global CRM team to understand unique segments and buying behaviours, and work with global business units to drive engagement, conversion and sales against measurable plan. Track customer sentiment and behaviours over time, and propose strategies to increase brand awareness, desirability, purchase intent and lifetime value.
  • Taking full ownership of the local Marketing budget and manages the P&L for marketing activations
  • Inspiring & leading the UK & IE Marketing team and play a key leadership role in the local Leadership Team, collaborating & communicating cross functionally with impact.
  • Collaborating cross functionally & cross-matrix with key business leads, local & global partners.
  • Supporting the Country Director and the wider leadership team with developing the local growth strategy through effectives communication on key brand & business developments.

Your experience:

  • Extensive relevant experience in Marketing across the full marketing mix within a Fashion, Beauty or Wellbeing environment within the UK & Ireland market. Digital Marketing & Wholesale experience would be advantageous
  • Experience in translating and implementing a coherent multichannel brand/marketing strategy across all customer touchpoints which demonstrates successful brand building, requiring both brand marketing and digital expertise, as well as retail, online, and broad communication skills.
  • A strong brand marketer, with particular emphasis on devising innovative and effective customer engagement strategies and tactics at all points of purchase.
  • A track record of delivering positive commercial results through well thought through brand focused initiatives which resonate with target customers.
  • An individual with gravitas, who is also prepared to roll up their sleeves, tenacious with the determination to raise the game and make a difference. A self-starter, being highly motivated to achieve consistent, excellent results
  • Experience of operating in a matrix organisation, with the ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships across all disciplines, and execute the brand strategy commercially, with both flair and creativity.
  • Commercial acumen and budget management skills, with expertise in driving cost-effective media marketing strategies. Ability to orchestrate and manage online and offline campaigns through to successful implementation; lead promotional and PR initiatives across all channels.
  • Expertise in combining an innovative digital marketing approach with sound commercial ideas.
  • A natural leader, collaborative in style, and adept at building high performance teams to achieve the Company’s goals.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally, a team player with the ability to build positive relationships, and demonstrable ability to support team members, share resources and knowledge, and collaborate with others to achieve goals.
  • Flexible in approach, proactive and responsive to adapting to changing trading patterns, able to balance long term objectives with the execution of short-term tactics.
  • An individual with a strong brand aesthetic, an eye for detail, and an ability to drive one tone of voice through all consumer touch points.
  • A proven CRM track record of delivering a cohesive application of messages and successful customer acquisition and retention strategies; able to develop existing the customer base, as well as identify and grow new customers.
  • A solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods to inform the commercial decision-making process.
  • Possess outstanding communication (written and verbal skills) and interpersonal abilities, used to engaging effectively and persuasively with all levels.
  • Experience working within a matrix organisation in a Local Head Office, reporting into a Central Head Office, with willingness to travel within the UK & Ireland as well as frequent trips to Amsterdam
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communication or equivalent
