JOB DESCRIPTION:

The “Head of Marketing, CX, Communications & Sponsorships” is intended to support the long-term ambitions of Sun Life Singapore. The role will be both strategic and operational in nature, supporting the Chief Partnership & Marketing Officer by leading the strategy across the spectrum of Brand, Product Marketing, Digital, Search Engine Optimization, Client Experience, Public Relations, Communications, Sponsorships, Philanthropy & CSR to support and achieve the SLS strategy and goals.
The role will also be critical to envision and build the Sun Life Singapore brand locally, especially amongst the higher affluent, HNW and UHNW client demographics.

DIGITAL & CLIENT EXPERIENCE

  • Lead social content strategy and execution across social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) to drive awareness, conversion, and engagement.
  • Deliver against the website optimization and customized experience strategies across the website and other touch points.
  • Ability to conceptualize digital optimizations, run and analyse A/B testing.
  • Evaluate suitability and business case for MarTech solutions with Asia Regional Office.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

  • Strong Leadership skills: Ability to manage multi-tasks and professional teams in fast moving environment.
  • Data-Driven Mindset with analytical skillset coupled with commercial awareness to utilize data and convert into strategic business insights.
  • Achieving Outcomes: Drive teams and influence key stakeholders to support business needs and explore potential business issues or opportunities that may impact organization results through strategic partnerships/collaborations.
  • High EQ, Strong Communicator with Influencing skills: Tactful in influencing top levels/ stakeholders internally and externally, especially in situation where there would be great impact to relationship with partners, clients, industry & regulatory bodies, etc. Able to motivate, influence and change people’s behaviors to achieve results.
  • Able to deal with complex and multi-dimensional issues, dynamic and innovative in resolving problems including business and people issues and effective in a variety of approaches such as being direct, forceful, diplomatic, influential and/or collaborative.
  • Proactively address current and anticipate potential challenges, as well as opportunities, anticipate obstacles, develop contingency plans, make well-reasoned decisions, and generate options to solve problems.
  • Optimizing outcomes with a limited budget and allocating spends across various initiatives. Able to discern the biggest impact given limited resources.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree or Masters in a related or equivalent discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with track record as a seasoned executive. Exposure to the Affluent & HNW client segment would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience in developing leading strategies around marketing, strategic collaborations, sponsorships, events, philanthropy to help the organization gain a competitive edge.
  • Good analytical ability, sharp business acumen and ability to balance strategy and execution, connect the dots and with a “roll up the sleeve mentality”.
  • Self-motivated with positive attitude and able to work independently and bring people together.
  • Excellent command of English & Mandarin with excellent written communication and presentation skills
